Ridgehavens Cocoa

For me Ridgehavens Cocoa was a dream come true. As a colour producer he is one of a kind. He carries not only the ultra rare champagne gen, but also silver and cream, meaning he can throw a rainbow of colours including champagne, silver dapple, silver bay, buckskin, palomino, smokey black and all the combinations of those.
He has a correct exterieur with flat back, arched neck, high set tail and straight legs and has proven himself as a breeding stallion with many offspring in the USA and Europe.
Cocoa is negative for all four ACAN dwarf mutations. That means even if bred to a carrier mare Cocoa can never produce a dwarf foal.
His character is flawless and he can run with mares as well as in a boy’s group. He is also a ride and drive horse, a therapy horse and a cuddly best friend to many a young girl.
In his pedigree he combines some of the foundation lines of the breed, including Komokos and Dell Tera. Some famous horses in his pedigree are Komokos Little Husseler (2x), Stouts Mister Pride, Dell Teras Moon Man and Irsul Vant Huttenest. His champagne gen traces back to Seven CS Cotton Candy. Cocoa’s sire, the great Owsley Fork M and Ms, sadly passed away on July 7^th 2011. He was known for his friendly demeanour and versatility. He leaves a legacy of friendly, champagne coloured breeding, show, driving and family horses. He will live on in his offspring.
